For best results, mow regularly, removing no more than 1/3 of the grass height in a single mowing. Doing so will eliminate the need for clipping collection, allowing them to return to the lawn where they can decompose and return essential nutrients back to the soil.
Set your mower height about 3 inches and never cut shorter than 2 inches. Allowing the lawn to grow within this range will ensure a deeply rooted turf more resistant to weeds and drought.
Keep your mower blades sharp. Dull blades will tear the blades leaving a ragged appearance and encourage disease.
Before mowing, allow the lawn to dry completely to avoid clumping.
