Proper watering is essential to the healthy development of your new sod. Watering deeply and less often forces the roots to grow several inches deep rather than just below the surface. After installation, watering should continue for 4 weeks or until the sod has rooted successfully. Your lawn will become deeply rooted and able to withstand periods of drought.

Watering is most beneficial during the coolest part of the day, usually 6:00AM to 10:00AM.
